Natural Breast Augmentation
AT DERMACARE MEDICAL AESTHETICS
Natural breast augmentation is a good alternative to artificial breast implants. The results are softer, smoother, and more natural-looking than silicone or saline implants. Since the process uses only your own natural fat cells, there is significantly less risk of complications or infections when compared to artificial implants.
Women who want to increase the size of their breasts naturally can contact Dermacare Medical Aesthetics to see how we can help you reach your goals with as little discomfort as possible.
Candidates for Natural Breast Augmentation
Natural breast augmentation is a good choice for women who want to augment their breast size. This procedure is an alternative to using artificial implants and requires no future interventions, as is necessary with artificial implants.
Consider getting natural breast enhancement if you want subtle results that look natural. This procedure offers a slight boost in volume, about a cup size. Many women choose this procedure to restore fullness after aging or weight loss, without dramatically affecting their size.
This procedure may also be used to smooth out breast irregularities, correct dimpling and visible edges around any existing breast implants, and improve the overall shape of the breast. Candidates can enjoy the following benefits:
- Long-lasting results
- Minimal downtime
- No general anesthesia required
- No synthetic implants
Natural breast augmentation involves harvesting fat from a donor area in your body. This means you need to have enough fat reserves in areas such as the flanks, stomach, or thighs. Because of this, lean individuals are usually not good candidates for this procedure, unless the doctor can harvest usable fat from multiple locations.
How Natural Breast Augmentation Works
Natural breast augmentation uses the latest advancements in laser-assisted liposuction and fat transfer technologies to gently remove unwanted fat cells from other areas of your body.
Natural breast augmentation is generally performed as an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia. Using advanced laser-assisted liposuction, your doctor will carefully remove the necessary amount of fat from targeted parts of your body – generally the abdomen or hips. This fat removal process is so gentle that the fat cells remain intact and ready for transfer.
The harvested fat is passed through a centrifuge and purified until only viable fat cells are left. After processing, the harvested fat cells are then carefully injected into the breasts, helping to smooth out irregularities, improve contour, and increase bust size.
Recovery
One of the greatest advantages of natural breast augmentation is that it doesn’t involve implants or synthetic materials. As such, the body won’t have to heal from incisions and insertions of foreign objects. However, this is still a surgical procedure that affects different areas of your body, which means you should expect some side effects.
Breast augmentation through fat transfer requires no hospitalization, and you can go home after the procedure in most cases. However, you can expect to feel soreness in both the donor area and your breasts. Swelling and bruising are also common during the first 72 hours. Most patients describe the discomfort as mild to moderate. This discomfort is easily manageable with OTC painkillers.
The doctor may advise you to wear a compression garment over the donor area (where you had liposuction). This keeps swelling to a minimum while helping the skin retract. It is important that you steer clear of bands with underwire; however, wear a supportive bra as recommended by the doctor. This bra ensures that you don’t put pressure on your new breasts. You should also avoid sleeping on your stomach for the next two to three weeks.
Most women can return to their daily activities within one or two weeks, but full recovery takes about a month. The fat stabilization process begins after that, so you should continue to avoid activities that compromise blood flow to the breasts.
Results
Most women notice their breasts looking larger immediately after the procedure. However, this is a result of swelling and overfilling. Surgeons intentionally administer more fat in your breast, as only about 60-80% of the transferred fat will survive. The rest will be processed out of the body through your lymphatic system.
You should see the first results after three to four weeks, once the swelling has subsided. However, it may take only a couple of hours for you to see the effects of the procedure. The fat has to stabilize and adjust to its new environment. Most patients only need one session, but depending on where the fat is reabsorbed from during recovery, you may need to go through multiple sessions.
Results from natural breast augmentation are permanent. However, patients should keep in mind that weight loss can affect the fat distribution. Because of this, you should try to maintain a stable weight to ensure that your breast volume stays constant.

Will My Activities Be Restricted After Natural Breast Augmentation?
Yes, but only for a limited time. While natural fat augmentation doesn’t involve the same downtime as implants, you should keep the pressure on your breasts low. Avoid exercise for a couple of days and steer clear of chest exercises for a few weeks. Running or lifting should also be avoided, as it puts pressure on the breasts.
Can I Get a Natural Breast Augmentation After Pregnancy or Breastfeeding?
You can have a natural breast augmentation after giving birth and breastfeeding, but not immediately after. You have to wait a couple of months for the breasts to stabilize in shape and size. For most mothers, this is about six months after their last breastfeed.
Will I Have to Perform Another Procedure in the Future?
Unlike artificial breast implants that have to be replaced every 10 years or so, natural breast augmentation is, for the most part, permanent. However, your results are dependent on maintaining a stable weight.
