The older you get, the more you start noticing that your skin might not look the way you feel it should. You may begin losing volume in your cheeks, you may notice wrinkles on your forehead, or you may also see the smile lines deepening. Some wrinkles form due to repetitive movement, whereas others are formed as a result of natural volume loss.

When this happens, injectables may be the solution. Their special formulas can help smooth out your wrinkles and revitalize your look. With the right dermal filler, you can smile to your heart’s content, without worrying that wrinkles could deepen.

1. Belotero® Balance

Belotero® Balance is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler with a smooth consistency that can penetrate deeply into your skin. Its formula can restore volume where it has been lost, offering you a more refreshed and youthful look. Most people use the Belotero® Balance filler to treat fine lines and wrinkles, but it may also be used to correct the vertical lines around the lips.

  • Where Is Belotero® Balance Injected?

Belotero® Balance may be injected on several regions of your face, but most commonly in the tissue around your nose and mouth. Patients often use this dermal filler to correct nasolabial folds or wrinkles in the lower area of their face. That being said, like most hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, it can also restore lost volume in the hollow areas underneath your eyes. This will give your face a more balanced appearance.

2. Bellafill®

Bellafill® is a dermal filler referred to as a collagen stimulator, as it is made from polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres with a collagen base. It can provide results that last as long as five years. Unlike hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers like Belotero® Balance that replenish the lost HA, Bellafill® triggers your body’s own collagen. This means that aside from treating wrinkles, it can also stimulate your body’s healing process and reduce acne scars.

  • Where Is Bellafill® Injected?

Bellafill® may be injected in different areas of your face that need collagen stimulation. This may include your nose, chin, lips, and the area around the mouth. Bellafill® may also be used for lip volumization, which is why it can be injected into the lips. Moreover, if you are noticing volume loss in the cheeks, Bellafill® may be used in the area to restore it.

3. Sculptra® Aesthetic

Sculptra® Aesthetic is an injectable used by those who want longer-lasting results. Similar to Bellafill®, it is also a collagen stimulator, but it uses poly-L-lactic acid to trigger your body’s natural elastin and collagen production. This can provide a more natural effect, with a better skin tone, smoother skin, and the appearance of a more hydrated face. The effects of Sculptra® Aesthetic may last for up to two years.

  • Where Is Sculptra® Aesthetic Injected?

Sculptra® Aesthetic is injected in deep dermis areas, particularly where you notice wrinkles and significant volume loss. As the product aims to fix the natural contour of your face, you should inject it in your cheek areas, temples, nasolabial folds, along the jawline, and in your forehead. Sculptra® Aesthetic can also be injected into the hips and buttocks for a natural lifting effect.

4. Natural Fat Transfers

Natural fat transfers are a good alternative for those who do not want to opt for synthetic injectables. Thanks to this treatment, our specialists at Dermacare Laser & Skin Care Clinics will draw fat from the other areas of the body, process it, and then inject it into the problem areas. This type of injectable is a good option for women and men who fear an allergic reaction.

  • Where Are Natural Fat Transfers Injected?

Natural fat fillers may be used in various areas of your face where you are lacking volume. This includes nasolabial folds, the cheek area, and hollows underneath the eyes. Many people also use natural fat transfers to add more volume to their lips.
