About the Procedure
CoolSculpting is a non-invasive procedure that involves very little discomfort. Some patients report an uncomfortable cooling sensation at the start of the procedure, but this sensation improves quickly. Mild suction is also used during the treatment to target and destroy fat cells for easier elimination by the body.
Many of our patients read and answer emails or nap during treatment. The treatment takes about one hour per treatment area to complete. When the procedure is over, you can return to your regular activities right away. Skin may be slightly red in the treatment area, but there are usually no other side effects after CoolSculpting.
Results You will start to see results within a few weeks after your CoolSculpting treatment. The body takes some time to break down and eliminate all of the treated fat cells. Gradual results will make it look like you have been hitting the gym, rather than indulging in a cosmetic procedure. You may need more than one treatment session of CoolSculpting to achieve your full results.
SculpSure Laser technology comes to body contouring with the introduction of SculpSure. This revolutionary procedure was just approved by the FDA last fall and is taking the cosmetic industry by storm. The device features a variety of applicators to deliver laser energy underneath the surface of the skin without damaging surrounding skin and tissue. Instead, the laser is targeted directly to the fat cells, liquefying them so they can be eliminated by the body.

SculpSure has been approved by the FDA to treat the abdomen and flanks. The variety of applicators also allows the procedure to be used on areas like the thighs, buttocks and back. SculpSure allows for the treatment of multiple areas at one time, saving you time and money.
About the Procedure
Sculpsure does not require any anesthesia and patients typically report little or no discomfort during the procedure. A handheld applicator delivers the laser energy directly to the fat deposits, with up to four applicators used at one time, depending on the number of treatment areas. During treatment, you will feel intervals of heat followed by comfortable cooling. The procedure takes about 25 minutes per treatment area to complete.
After your procedure, you are able to return to your regular activities right away. You can even exercise after a SculpSure treatment! We recommend increasing your water intake and massaging the treatment area for the first few days, to ensure even distribution of the remaining fat cells and a smoother overall result.
Results
Like CoolSculpting, the results of SculpSure will take about six to twelve weeks to gradually develop as the treated fat cells are eliminated by the body. The results will be permanent as long as you maintain a healthy weight after the procedure.
LifeSculpt
LifeSculpt is the latest option in minimally-invasive liposuction procedures. The procedure combines traditional liposuction techniques with laser technology to create a less invasive, more effective treatment. Laser energy is delivered directly into the area of fat using a very small incision, resulting in less trauma, discomfort and downtime than traditional liposuction. The laser also tightens skin in the treatment area for a smoother resulting contour overall.

About the Procedure
LifeSculpt can be performed in our office on an outpatient basis, using local anesthesia. Incisions used to insert the fat-removing cannula are very small, requiring no sutures and leaving little or no visible scarring afterward. Through the micro-incisions, laser energy is delivered to the area to liquefy the fat cells to be removed. The fat is then gently suctioned out of the body, resulting in fast results patients can see within a few days of the procedure.
Treatments typically take between 2-3 hours to complete, depending on the size of the treatment area. Patients return home the same day as their procedure and most patients are back to regular activities within a couple of days. The treated area may be slightly sore and swollen for a few days, but those side effects should subside on their own fairly quickly.
Results
Because fat is actually removed during the LifeSculpt procedure, patients can see the fat-reduction results of their treatment once the body heals completely. Skin tightening will appear more slowly and full results are usually apparent within a few weeks after the procedure.
