Voluma AT DERMACARE SAN DIEGO

Voluma is the latest addition to our toolbox of fillers. It is FDA approved for restoration of cheek volume and facial rejuvenation. It is a hyaluronic acid just like Juvederm. This means it is a compound that is naturally found in the human body, making it very safe. It is different in that it is denser and firmer than other fillers in this class which make it “stronger” for difficult to lift areas of the face. It also takes longer for the body to break it down so it lasts longer; up to 2 years. Dr. Birchall is one of the first in the San Diego area to use this product and has received extensive training in its use.
