About Monica

Monica is Dermacare of Carlsbad’s body shaping specialist and our favorite social butterfly. She started her career at Dermacare in 2019 as a patient care representative and has since become an expert on Dermacare’s body shaping and sculpting services. She is a CoolSculpting® University graduate, a certified CoolSculpting® technician and our Carlsbad’s resident truSculpt Flex® provider.  

Monica also has a cosmetology license and has worked for major brands like Nordstrom and Clinque. She has a bachelor’s degree in social studies from California State University, San Marcos, which explains her love of people and human behavior! 

She enjoys walking to the beach and having fun watching her twin boys skateboard and play flag football.
